In addition to the piano, he plays the violin, bandoneon, and several other instruments across multiple genres.

 

Santon is an alumnus of the Perkins School for the Blind. As a member of the Perkins Trio, he performed with Orleans, Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals, Peter Wolf, Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, and Natalie Merchant.

 

In 2014, Santon graduated from the Berklee College of Music, summa cum laude.

 

Santon performs as a solo pianist, accompanies singers, and plays piano in the Boston Tango Orchestra. He also composes his own music.
 

Santon has performed in many Boston venues, including Boston Symphony Hall, the Berklee Performance Center, and the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport, MA. He has also traveled to Colorado, Kentucky, New York, Florida, and several other states to play solo or with his music partners.

 

Santon has produced two albums: “Flavors of the Rainbow” (solo piano classical favorites) and “Night Animals” (a duet with CD Collins, featuring spoken word with music).

 

When Santon isn't making music, he dances the Argentine tango, does acrobatics on a trapeze, windsurfs, rides a tandem bicycle with his dad, swims, skis, skates, travels, and fully enjoys life.
